On the Front Desk
Hi West Clinic Friends! It's Susy again. Well I just want to share a little bit about what it's like working at the front desk here at the West Clinic. Did you know that we never stop working? There is never a dull moment here.
I once saved a patient's life when she was choking. While tending the front desk, I heard a whimper for help from down the hallway. Somehow I knew exactly what to do. I jumped right into action and performed the HEIMLICH. She gasped for a deep breath of air, thank goodness!
We are always so busy. It can seem pretty hectic at times but we all work in sync with one another, it's great. Like I said, we stay busy checking people in and out, answering phone calls, printing paperwork, updating accounts, organizing files, working with an overbooked schedule, faxing medical requests, entering data into the computers, rescheduling patients, and helping with patients in the back. The list goes on and on.
One thing I feel blessed for is to have a job in the first place. I went from working 6 days a week for 10 hour days to 4 days a week. The absolute best part of my job is the patients, the conversations we have and relationships we build here are just beautiful. Who wouldn't want to be a part of changing people's lives? I am so grateful for the work family I have gained while working at The West Clinic. I wouldn't change it for the world.
A positive quote for the day....
"Every day may not be good.... but there is good in every day"
"The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate."
"Hard work keeps the wrinkles out of the mind and spirit."
"The Difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra."
Sincerely,
Crazy Front Desk Girl... Susy Q
